About GV CERV Communications

GV CERV Communications was launched in 2000. Since its inception, Gilbert Velazquez, GV CERV’s founder,
has seen its transformation and evolvement into the new millennium. Gilbert, a graduate of the Fashion Institute
of Technology (FIT), has combined his academic and real world industry experience in design, photography and fashion to furnish his clients with cutting edge concepts.

With his comprehensive background in healthcare communications, Gilbert has adapted his experience
of over fifteen years to better serve his clients from a multitude of industries. From his beginnings as a staff
designer for a boutique New York City marketing communications firm, to creative director of a leading medical communications company in New Jersey, Gilbert instinctively knows how to go from concept to finalization.
When asked what he considers to be his greatest strengths, he reflects that “listening to the client’s individual needs
as they engage the target audience is utmost in importance”. It was this philosophy that lead Gilbert to venture
into his own design company.

Gilbert’s workplace expertise and real world experience in sonic compositions, emerging technologies and
overall project management, enable him to assemble a team equipped to serve his clients needs.

Gilbert is a member of the following professional organizations: The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP); Jersey Shore Public Relations Advertising Association (JSPRAA); American Society of Composers; Authors and Publishers (ASCAP); Healthcare Marketing Communications and Education Professionals; and the HTML 5 Technologies Group.
